THIS IS HOLLAND

This Is Holland is an experience, not a museum. You walk through a series of rooms that give you a feel for Dutch history and culture. It's fun and lively, but it's really just the warm-up act.

The main event is the 5D flight show. You sit in a "flying chair" inside a 180-degree screen and feel like you're actually flying over the Netherlands. The chair moves, you smell flowers, and you get a light spray of water when flying over the sea. It's called 5D for a reason.

I'm Dutch, so the content itself didn't surprise me. But the 5D part genuinely blew me away. My 8-year-old son was absolutely in his element. My wife, on the other hand, found the movement a bit much and said she would have skipped it had she known upfront. Worth knowing before you go.

The whole visit takes under an hour. Short, but it sticks with you.
